We are looking for a proactive systems engineer/technician who can contribute to our projects both abroad and in Norway.

Due to increasing workload, we are looking for skilled employees who can contribute to our companys’ growth. In addition to our existing services, we have developed new courses that build on the niche expertise of the company. AviNeering also plans to build a training center so that some of the courses can also be held in our premises with a focus on practical approach. The courses are tailored to training in safety-critical navigation and communication equipment at airports. AviNeering is focusing on courses and competence in the future and sees it as a sustainable part of the company's ambitions to expand our operations.

Our role is often to be a problem solver and find solutions to challenging situations. We are therefore looking for people who is solution-oriented, has good execution ability, and information-seeking person with good communication and collaboration skills. Tasks will range from repairing equipment, calibration of electronics, perform training sessions, to being a diplomat in locked situations between operational and certifying bodies in different countries.

As a systems engineer, you will work on the mechanical installation of antenna systems, commissioning and startup after installation, as well as providing training at the customer's site. After received training, a good part of the work will be to perform training sessions. the position as System Engineer involves a lot of traveling as we have assignments at airports worldwide.

As a System Engineer you will be responsible for performing technical services at airports worldwide and providing training to technicians at different airports. The role includes:

• Performing technical services at airports worldwide

• Providing training to technicians at different airports - commonly performed after commissioning and calibrating systems

• Being responsible for ensuring assigned projects are completed on time and to the agreed quality

• Being responsible for status reporting and any deviations

• Participating in the development of new products and concepts

• Other relevant tasks for the position

Qualifications:

• Education or professional experience in communications electronics, radio systems, and/or telecommunications is preferred

• Strong technical and practical understanding

• Good IT skills and ability to use a PC as a working tool.

• Network knowledge and/or experience with CAD is a plus
