AviNeering Completes Delivery and Installation of its 31st DVOR Counterpoise

AviNeering Standard DVOR Counterpoise Installation and Red Sea International Airport.

Back in 2016, AviNeering introduced its first AviNeering Standard DVOR Counterpoise, marking the beginning of a series of successful deliveries globally. To date, a total of 31 counterpoises have been designed and delivered by the company. Most recently, in March 2023, our team completed the delivery and installation of a DVOR Counterpoise at Red Sea International Airport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The AviNeering Standard DVOR Counterpoise is designed with the purpose to reflect electromagnetic waves transmitted from CVOR and DVOR antennas. This type of navigational system serves both short-range and long-range radio navigation. Some of the key aspects and benefits of the AviNeering Standard DVOR Counterpoise includes:

Simplified Installation

AviNeering's DVOR Counterpoise provides a streamlined installation process. With the use of assembly rectangular profiles employing a convenient slide-in method, the installation becomes significantly easier and more efficient, reducing overall time during installation.

Efficient Cable Management

Over the years, AviNeering understands the importance of seamless cable management. The hollow structures utilized in the DVOR Counterpoise serve as cable ducts, eliminating the need for additional cable ducts or fixing mechanisms. Moreover, the counterpoise's central mast neatly routes all cables down the center and exits through a dedicated opening, perfectly suited for entry into the shelter and electronic equipment. This cable routing system ensures a clean installation while providing enhanced cable protection, resulting in minimal maintenance requirements.

Robust Construction with Few Parts
The AviNeering Standard DVOR Counterpoise is built with durability and efficiency in mind. Its strong galvanized steel construction, combined with a reduced number of parts, not only facilitates faster installation but also simplifies maintenance tasks. With fewer components to manage, the counterpoise offers an extended lifespan, ensuring long-term operational reliability.
